On May the 5th, students from Year 3-7 attended the SACSA Athletics Carnival and God provided a gorgeous day for our students and teachers.

The students had trained faithfully leading up to the carnival and it showed in how well they placed in their events. The SACSA Athletics was attended by 18 South Australian Christian schools, who competed in 3 Divisions. Cedar College competed in Division 1, finishing 4th overall, and also moved up to 3rd in the Challenge Shield. This is an excellent result of which staff and students are very proud.

A huge thank you to Mr Klassen and Mr White for running the boys long jump and relay changes and Mr Butler assisting with track events. The day would not have run smoothly without Miss Butler doing an exceptional job of getting students to their events and keeping track of them during the day.

Finally, thank you to the parents who came to cheer on the students, and well done Cedar students. I am super impressed by your attitude towards your training and competing. I am so proud of you and look forward to SAPSASA Athletics in Term 3!
