Middle School facilities

Middle School is a time of growth and transition, as students shift from a single-teacher, single-classroom environment to a multi-teacher, multi-classroom experience. This transition introduces new subjects and skills, helping students begin to explore potential career paths.

designThe High School Resource Centre serves as the information hub for Cedar College. This new facility offers access to state-of-the-art technology and resources, with a range of research, teaching, and study areas available to students. A combination of traditional library resources and cutting-edge technology ensures that students have access to up-to-date information and materials.

The $3M Cedar College Sports Center has expanded the range of sporting activities available within the Physical Education curriculum. Equipped with two full-sized courts for indoor sports, a weights training area, teaching spaces, and change-room facilities, the Sports Centre is an exciting asset for students. Middle School students also enjoy the use of the outdoor basketball courts and sports ovals during Physical Education classes.

The Food and Hospitality Centre has been purpose-built to provide students with practical life skills in food preparation. It also opens up potential career opportunities in the food industry, helping students gain hands-on experience that will serve them well in the future.

Newly designed Science Laboratories equip Middle School students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to navigate an increasingly complex world. These labs prepare students for the study of scientific disciplines in Senior School, where they can specialise in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Psychology.
