A place to learn and grow

One Campus, two Schools. The Cedar College campus is divided into two distinct areas, providing separate Primary School (R-6) and High School (7-12) facilities.

The Primary School

Situated on the Souther side of the campus, the Primary School classrooms are divided into Junior Primary (R-2) and Upper Primary (3-6) areas. The Primary School also features a specialist music room, technology room, science room, and learning assistance classroom, as well as a new Nature Play space and three-court asphalt playing surface. The Cedar College oval, playground and Junior Primary lawns are all part of the spacious playing areas available to the Primary School.

Between the Primary and High School is the new two-storey Resource Centre, which houses the Primary School and High School libraries with spacious and open learning areas, as well as computer rooms, teaching rooms, and a theatre room.

The High School

The High School, comprising Middle School(7-9) and Senior School(10-12), is situated on the Northern side of the campus, and features a new two-storey Creative Arts Centre.

Other specialist teaching areas in the High School include a food and hospitality centre, cafe, music and learning assistance classrooms, design & technology and textiles building, art facilities and the Cedar College Sports Centre. The Sports Centre features a 2-court sprung-floor gymnasium with a 200 seat spectator area, as well as fitness and change rooms.

Classroom spaces

Our purpose-built four classroom blocks, featured in both the Primary and High School, feature generous class space and refrigerated air-conditioning. These classroom blocks are laid out according to year level, providing specific quadrants for the various departments and are connected via paved and shaded areas.

Open areas

Outdoor spaces are an important part of the Cedar College campus. Providing adequate open areas for Primary School children to play and learn, while remaining separate from the High School has been a priority. Access to our own school oval (on the eastern side) as well as the Vickers Vimy Oval (on the western side) provides options for multiple sporting activities and events including Sports Days to take place on-campus. The three outdoor sports courts provide playing areas during recess and lunch, in addition to the two indoor courts in the Cedar College Sports Centre.
