Last Friday, the High School took to the waters for their annual Swimming Carnival.

While it was forecast to be a fresh day for a swim, the weather turned out to be quite reasonable. Thank you to all who made the day run so smoothly, in particular the wonderful House Leaders who organised their houses and made sure their team was involved.

A highlight for the day was the Open Boys Butterfly when we saw some true butterflies in the water with some of the boys taking it seriously with an aim to win, and with others enjoying the chance to dress up as butterflies for the race. Another great highlight was watching the staff team take out the Staff vs Students 4x100m Freestyle.

Well done to Laver, who won the day with a total of 483 points! Bradman came second on 448 points, Jackson third on 419 points and Gould fourth on 380 points.

Congratulations to the following students who were awarded the best swimming in their age group:
U13 Girls – Lana 21 points, U13 Boys – Nathan 22 points, U14 Girls – Isabel 30 points, U14 Boys – Marcus 26 points, U15 Girls – Brooke 26 points, U15 Boys – Mitchell 24 points, U16 Girls – Jacinta 30 points, U16 Boys – Bailey 30 points, Open Girls – Emily 40 points, Open Boys – Ryan 30 points.
