It has been an exciting first term for Primary School sports, culminating in a historic first ever win for Gould, at the Upper Primary Sports Day.

The Upper Primary was blessed with a beautiful day. Student participation was excellent throughout the day and support of parents, grandparents, and friends was fantastic! A range of events from fun team games and the popular tug-of-war, to the serious sprints and relays, ensured that every student was involved throughout the day.

The biggest congratulations goes to Gould who, after many years of just missing out, finally won the shield for the first time in the history of the Upper Primary Sports Day. Thank you to the many parents who donated to and ran the cake stall, raising $252.15 and the hotdog lunch, raising $299.37, to go towards our Primary School playground. Finally, a big thank you to all of the Primary School staff who helped the day to run smoothly.

Many of the students who participated in Sports Day are now practicing for next term’s SACSA Athletics Carnival which will take place at SANTOS Stadium in Week 1 of Term 2.
