There’s lots to do to get ready for a new school year – Here’s what’s happening!
Get Ready Day!
> Thursday, 19th January, 8:00am – 5:00pm (all students)
Get ready for the 2023 school year! Collection of exercise books, stationery, text books, and laptops for High School students, will all take place this day (see below for specific year level requirements):
- Primary School and High School students collect their stationery pack from the Cedar Staffroom
- All High School students (7-12) will need to collect their textbooks from the Resource Centre.
- Students in Year 7 & 10 should collect their new laptop from the Resource Centre.
If you are unable to collect your books on your allocated day, please contact the School Office (8261 3377) to organise another time.
Helpful Information
Book Covering Lists
Book Lists for Primary School students are available to help with book covering/Contact. Parents/caregivers do NOT need to purchase items on these book lists – all items on the Book List will be supplied to you on Get Ready Day.
Book Collection Information
If you are unable to collect your books on your allocated day, please contact the Primary or High School Office (8261 3377) to organise a different day for collection before school commences.
Book Covers
In Primary School, all exercise books need to be covered.
A great selection of book covers can be ordered from www.ezcovers.com/au (Cedar College receives a donation for each cover purchased if you select Cedar College as your school from the drop down list at checkout and use code EZ15), or you may source your own book coverings. Primary School Book lists are available here, to assist with quantities and sizes when ordering/purchasing covers.
Uniform Shop
The uniform Shop will be open on the following days.
- Get Ready day – Thursday January 19, 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Monday January 30, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
- Wednesday February 1, 3pm – 5:30pm.
- Thursday February 2, 3pm – 5:30pm.
First Day of School – Tuesday January 31
All students return to school on Tuesday January 31 (Monday January 30 is a Student Free Day).
HIGH SCHOOL
High School students begin at 8:30am, new students meet on the Gazebo School lawns, near the Admin Building. Returning High School students should make their way straight to their Homeroom.
PRIMARY SCHOOL
Primary School students start at 8:40am. New students should arrive by 8:35am and make their way to their classroom. Our Welcome Table will be available for questions and help. Further information about the first day of school is available here.
