The Cedar College Campus
Situated just 10 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD, the Cedar College campus is divided into two distinct areas, servicing the Primary School and High School.
The southern campus houses new Primary School classrooms, and is divided into Junior Primary (R-2) and Upper Primary (3-6) areas. The Primary School also features a
specialist music room, library, I.T. room and learning assistance classrooms. It also enjoys the use of the adjacent three-court asphalt playing surface. The Cedar College oval, playground and Junior Primary lawns are all part of the spacious playing areas available to the Primary School.
The High School (comprising Middle School and Senior School), situated on the Northern side of the campus, features new High School classrooms, a new technical studies and textiles building, new art facility and the Cedar College Sports Centre. The Sports Centre features a 2-court sprung-floor gymnasium with a 200 seat spectator area, as well as fitness and change rooms.
The two-storey administration building houses the High School Resource Centre and I.T. classroom on the western side and science laboratories on the eastern side. Other specialist teaching areas in the High School include a new food and hospitality centre, cafe, music and learning assistance classrooms.
Classroom Spaces
Our purpose-built four classroom blocks, featured in both the Primary and High School, feature generous class space and refrigerated air-conditioning. These classroom blocks are laid out according to year level, providing specific quadrants for the various departments and are connected via paved and shaded areas.
Open Areas
Open spaces are an important part of the Cedar College campus. Providing adequate space for Primary School children to play and learn, while remaining separate from the High School has been a priority. Access to our own school oval (on the eastern side) as well as the Vickers Vimy Oval (on the western side) provides options for multiple sporting activities and events including Sports Days to take place on-campus. The three outdoor sports courts provides additional playing areas during recess and lunch, in addition to the two indoor courts in the Cedar College Sports Centre.
